From Simple Learning Progress to Active Open Learner Model – a Design for ActiveMath

چکیده

This paper concludes the work on my fopra: “Learning Progress” page of the Learner Model of ActiveMath, that allows to give the learners an overview of ActiveMath’s opinion on their learning progress. However, after having finished the project and having read some articles, I realized that learners may prefer to participate in a discussion about their problems rather than being given a quick, inappropriate, or incomprehensive response. Therefore, this paper also concludes some ideas about building an active open learner model in ActiveMath, so that we can provide more appropriate learning section for each specific learner.
